More postal delights

Been doing a bit of ye olde online shopping lately. The mailbox is beginning to bear fruit. Here is a delightful zine called Paper Crush, from PonyBoy Press's Etsy shop, about the charms of postcards. A gorgeous old linen-finish card (!) depicting "Moonlight on the Pennsylvania Turnpike" (!!) is tucked inside.

This particular zine/card combo ticks a fair few of the "little things that make me happy" boxes: mail, paper ephemera, 1930s linen postcards, golden age of autos, Pennsylvania...the only thing missing is the 1939 New York World's Fair (my favourite source of ephemera).

But wait: did you know that a "model of this new form of superhighway was displayed at the General Motors Highways and Horizons Futurama exhibit at the 1939 New York City World's Fair"? Oh yeah! (Interesting history, the PA Turnpike...)

Can the yields o' the letterbox actually get any better?
