64 new names for crayons
A while ago I got out the old box o' 64 Crayolas and made a sampler, which of course brought all kinds of childhood memories flooding back. So I renamed the colours according to whatever they made me think of.
I am pleased to report that the smell of crayons remains the same, but I'm not sure about some of these newfangled purpley/pinky colours. I wonder which colours have come and gone since the 1970s?
(Update 8 Dec 2011: I've developed these swatches into a 64-page illustrated comic/zine, "64 new names for old crayons" available thru my Etsy shop...)
